3. Prepare a List of Words: The first and foremost thing that you should do while reading is to keep a notebook with you. Note down the words which seem unfamiliar and look up for the meaning of the words in the dictionary. You can make this exercise even more fruitful if you also collect the antonym and synonyms for the list of words. When you are done try and write down sentences with each word. This will develop your vocabulary to a great extent.
